Melexis Triaxis 3D & Joystick Position Sensor MLX90378 Gen.III
ASIL-C | optionally with SENT or PWM output | +160°C
ASIL-C capable, absolute measuring 3D and joystick position sensor with Melexis Triaxis technology and IMC-disk (Integrated Magnetic Concentrator) based on the Hall effect. Suitable for non-contact linear and 3D position measurement as well as for joysticks or drive levers.
A simple axial magnet is sufficient for control.

- Output characteristic freely configurable (0...100% or 0...4095bit)
- Multi-point linearisation with 4 interpolation points per axis
- 9-point solver for joysticks with a square gate
- External INPUT pin for sensing an analog, switch or PWM signal (output via SENT)
- ASIL-C Ready (ISO26262/SEooC)
- Temperature range -40...+160°C (automotive)
- Operating voltage 5V (4.5~5.5V) or 12V (6~18V)
- Single-DIE (SOIC-8) or Dual-DIE (TSSOP-16)
