Melexis Triaxis 3D Linear & Rotary Position Sensor MLX90377 Gen.III
Immune to stray fields up to 180° | ASIL-C | optionally with analog, SENT, PWM or SPC output | +160°C
ASIL-C capable, absolute measuring linear and rotary position sensor with Melexis Triaxis technology and IMC structure (Integrated Magnetic Concentrator) based on the Hall effect. Suitable for non-contact linear and rotary position sensing as well as 1/2 joysticks or travel levers in automotive, medical or industrial applications.Depending on the version, the sensors are immune to stray fields of up to 5mT (Stray Field Immune) or behave like Triaxis sensors of the previous generation (Standard/Legacy).
The standard/legacy versions are functionally compatible with the previous generation.
A simple axial or diametral magnet is sufficient for control (standard/legacy variant).
If there is an increased requirement for the stray field immunity of a 180° rotary application, a four-pole ring magnet is required (Rotary Stray Field Immune variant).

The ICs are unprogrammed and can only be reprogrammed or adapted to the magnetic design by a Melexis Programmer PTC-04 fitted with Daughterboard HALL06 .
