Immune to stray fields up to 360° angle sensing | ASIL-C | optionally with analog, PWM, SENT or SPC output | +160°C
ASIL-C capable, absolute measuring linear and rotary position sensor with Melexis Triaxis technology and IMC structure (Integrated Magnetic Concentrator) based on the Hall effect. Suitable for non-contact linear and rotary position sensing as well as 1/2 joysticks or travel levers in automotive, medical or industrial applications.Depending on the version, the sensors are robust against stray fields of up to 5mT with 180° resp. 360° angle sensing (Stray Field Immune) or behave like Triaxis sensors of the previous generation (Standard/Legacy).
The standard/legacy versions are functionally compatible with the previous generation.
A simple axial or diametral magnet is sufficient for control. Even for the 360° Rotary Stray Field Immune variant a two-pole diametral magnet can be used. For the 180° Stray Field Immune variant, a four-pole ring magnet is required.

The ICs are unprogrammed and can only be reprogrammed or adapted to the magnetic design by a Melexis Programmer PTC-04 fitted with Daughterboard HALL06 .
