Melexis MLX90510 High Speed Inductive Rotary Position Resolver
Accurate inductive high-speed resolver interface for absolute rotary motion and position sensing - immune to stray fields by design. Suitable for non-contact rotor motion position sensing in automotive, medical or industrial applications - end-of-shaft, side-of-shaft or through-shaft. The sensor is ASIL-C capable, features customisable differential sine/cosine analog outputs and can be operated at ambient temperatures from -40°C up to +160°. The absolute position is processed on-chip and can be linearised with up to 16 points.

- High accuracy: Maximum ±0.36° electrical up to 240'000 e-RPM
- Differential Sine & Cosine analog outputs
- Programmable input signal offset compensation & zero output-angle position adjustment
- Flexible signal conditioning with 16-point programmable linear transfer characteristic
- Supports rotary target End-of-Shaft, Side-of-Shaft or Through-Shaft
- Immune to magnetic stray fields by design (ISO 11452-8)
- ASIL-C compliant according to ISO26262/SEooC
- Overvoltage and reverse-polarity protection: -24 V to +24 V maximum
- Ambient Operating Temperature Range -40...+160°C (automotive)
- Operating voltage 5V (4.5~5.5V)
- TSSOP-16 Package RoHS Compliant

The ICs are unprogrammed and can only be reprogrammed or adapted to the mechanical design by a Melexis Programmer PTC-04 fitted with Daughterboard HALL06 .
