Melexis Triaxis 3D µPower Magnetometer IC
Absolute measuring three-dimensional micro-power position sensor with Melexis
Triaxis technology and IMC-disk (Integrated Magnetic Concentrator) based on the
Hall effect for non-contact position determination of a magnet in joystick, linear,
rotary or off-axis applications.
The sensitivity can be configured in the EEPROM resp.
NVRAM by microcontroller trough 3-wire or 4-wire SPI interface as well as via
the integrated I2C interface. The small QFN 3x3 package (alternatively chipscale
1.27x1.27mm) and the low power consumption (<5µA idle) allow a wide range of
applications. A simple axial or diametral magnet is sufficient for control.

- Three function modes: "Single Measurement" mode, "Burst Mode"
and "Wake-up On Change" mode
- programmable and configurable in the application via µC
- Temperatures from -40...+85°C (depending on type)
- Package QFN16 3x3mm (16 pin), UTDFN-8 2.5x2mm (8 pin) or chipscale WL-CSP
