Melexis Triaxis 3D µPower Magnetometer IC

Absolute measuring three-dimensional micro-power position sensor with Melexis Triaxis technology and IMC-disk (Integrated Magnetic Concentrator) based on the Hall effect for cost effective battery powered applications such as non-contact position determination of a magnet in joystick, linear, rotary. on- or off-axis applications.
Magnetic range, refresh rate and filter can be configured in the NVRAM by a microcontroller trough the integrated I2C interface. The small UTDFN-8 package and the low power consumption (7nA power-down) allow a wide range of applications. A simple axial or diametral magnet is sufficient for control.

- Micropower (from 7nA power down)
- Output of X-, Y-, Z-axis and temperature in 16 Bit
- Magnetic range selectable between ±25mT and ±50mT (Bz up to ±200mT)
- Output refresh rate selectable up to 1400Hz (XYZ) or 700Hz (XYZT)
- Three function modes: "Single Measurement", "Continuous" (10Hz~1.4kHz) and "Power-down"
- Configurable in the application via a µC
- Operating temperature -40...+105°C
- 8 pin UTDFN-8 package (2.5 x 2 x 0.4 mm)
