Melexis Triaxis 3D Automotive µPower Magnetometer Node

Absolute measuring three-dimensional automotive grade (AEC-Q100) micro-power position sensor with Melexis Triaxis technology and IMC (Integrated Magnetic Concentrator) disk based on the Hall effect for non-contact position determination of a magnet in joystick, linear, rotary or off-axis applications (X-/Y-/Z-axis).
The sensitivity can be configured by microcontroller via an SPI interface (10MHz) or through the integrated I2C interface (1MHz) in RAM or NVRAM.
The low power consumption (1.4µA idle) and a sampling rate of up to 2kHz (XYZ) allow a wide range of applications.
SOIC-8 (8-pin single DIE), QFN-16 (16-pin single DIE) or TSSOP-16 (16-pin dual DIE) are available as package variants. A simple axial, diametral, ring or block magnet is sufficient for control.

- RAM & NVRAM programmable or configurable in the application via µC
- Temperature range -40...+125°C (Automotive AEC-Q100)
- Package variants SOIC-8 and QFN-16 as single DIE and TSSOP-16 as dual DIE (two redundant ICs)
