Melexis Micro-Power 3-wire programmable Lateral Hall-Effect Switch or
Latch
according to ASIL-B Pre-programmed variants are available under the
designation MLX92291.
Freely configurable three-wire Hall switch/latch. Available in SMD version with
IMC magnetic concentrator as "lateral sensing" variant or sensitive to parallel
fields on axis Bx (option code 2xx).
This makes it possible to replace a leaded THT component with the same magnet
design with the MLX92292LSE-AAA-2xx as an SMD component. Hereby the manual
assembly effort can be minimized.
The MLX92292 offers high ESD resistance, excellent EMC performance and a
wide operating voltage range, has integrated thermal overload protection,
reverse voltage protection, output overcurrent protection and undervoltage
shutdown. Built-in negative temperature coefficient for magnet compensation
enables precise switching points over the entire temperature range.
Suitable for use as an automotive, consumer and industrial switch as well
as a proximity or limit switch.
The MLX92292 component is designed to meet ASIL-B requirements
according to road vehicles functional safety ISO26262.
