ASIL-C capable, absolute measuring linear and rotary position sensor with
Melexis Triaxis technology and IMC-disk (Integrated Magnetic Concentrator) based on
the Hall effect. Suitable for non-contact linear and rotary position sensing as well
as 1/2 joysticks or travel levers.
Depending on the version, the sensors are immune to stray fields (Stray Field Immune)
or behave like Triaxis sensors of the previous generation (Standard/Legacy).
The standard/legacy versions are functionally compatible with the previous generation.
A simple axial or diametral magnet is sufficient for control of
the standard/legacy variant.
If stray field robustness of a rotating application is needed, a four-pole-pair
disk or ring magnet is required in combination with a Rotary Stray Field Immune variant.

The ICs are unprogrammed and can only be reprogrammed or adapted to the magnetic design by a Melexis Programmer PTC-04 with Daughterboard PTC04-DB-HALL06.
