Melexis MLX90427 Triaxis 3rd Generation Mainstream Embedded 3D Joystick, Linear & Rotary Hall-Position Sensor IC

ASIL-C capable, absolute measuring 3D joystick, linear and rotary Hall-position sensor IC with Melexis
Triaxis technology based on the Hall effect. Suitable for non-contact XYZ position detection as well as
for angular rotay (Triaxis IMC) and strayfield immune 360° rotary applications (dBz). This hybrid mode allows to acquire rotary 360° from legacy applications using Triaxis IMC technology and 360° strayfield robust
rotary applications with dBz signal at the same time. The integrated DSP can be fully operated by SPI commands.
A simple axial or diametal magnet is sufficient for control.

- 360° Rotary Stray Field Immune in dBz-Mode and Legacy Rotary in IMC-Mode (SOIC-8 only)
- 360° Legacy Rotary in IMC-Mode for dual DIE (TSSOP16)
- High Speed Full-SPI interface
- No need for PTC-04 programming
- ASIL-C Ready (ISO26262/SEooC)
- Functional compatible with MLX90333, MLX90363 or MLX90378
- Operating voltage 3V3 (3.0~3.6V) or 5V (4.5~5.5V)
- Single-DIE rotary SFI & IMC (SOIC-8) or Dual-DIE legacy IMC (TSSOP-16)
- Temperature range -40°C...+160°C (automotive) or -20°C...+85°C
- Chip revision "AAC“
