The development kit consists of a NFC/RFID reader based on the MLX90132 and a microcontroller board based on a STM32F103 ARM CORTEX M3 (detachable via break-out).

The NFC/RFID reader board includes an MLX90132 NFC/RFID transceiver IC with optimized circuitry to operate as an NFCIP-2 reader.
The protocols ISO/IEC14443-A and ISO/IEC14443-B (up to 848kbit/s) as well as ISO/IEC18092 (up to 424kbit/s) and ISO/IEC15693 are supported.
Two PCB antennas (app. 50x38mm and 30x20mm) are provided and can be selected by bridge resistors.

The microcontroller board of the DVK90132 allows a standalone and a development mode.
In standalone mode, RFID tags can be read easily and quickly and displayed via the display.
The development mode allows the development of own applications based on the included TCL script examples which can be transferred to the board via USB.
